Here's one way to think about a healthy diet, ask yourself do you get all the colors of the rainbow in one day?
Red: strawberries, red bell peppers, pink grapefruit. tomatoes, watermelon, beets, radishes
Orange: oranges, cantaloupe, carrots, apricots, mango
Yellow: yellow squash, bananas, onions, peaches, millet
Green: broccoli, zucchini, spinach, green beans, chard, lima beans
Blue: blueberries, blue corn
Indigo: eggplant, blackberries, plumes, prunes, black beans
Violet: grapes, kale, purple potatoes, purple basil
just a couple examples, I'm sure you can think of more.
